APPLICATIONS
Seal air dampers provide the ideal solution when complete positive isolation from process gases is required. Our design uses pressurized air in the space between the damper blade seals, maintaining a pressure consistently higher than the upstream process. A version with two blades on one shaft, Double tandem, is also avaible.
Suitable for clean gases as well as gases with a low particulate content. For temperature regulation and emission control. To optimize and ensure combustion. To meet environmental standards.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Durable and reliable structure. A through-shaft where the blade is welded along the entire shaft and reinforced by blade stiffeners. With a sealing air valve linked to the shaft, only one actuator is needed. By pressing air in between the blades, a clean air barrier is created.

- -DT, two blades on one shaft offer a shorter construction length.
- The choice of materials for the housing, blades, and flanges depends on several factors, such as temperature, corrosive environments, or wear. Materials can be mixed, for example, different materials for the housing and blades.
